CLEVELAND POOLS, HAMPTON ROW, BATH
Cleveland Pools opened in 1815 as a public swimming facility.
The main building which comprises a two storey house flanked by two
wings of changing cubicles is largely unaltered. The property is
listed Grade II*.
The pools may be reached either by road or by river from the
Centre of Bath.
The disposal of Cleveland Pools presents a unique opportunity
for an imaginative scheme, either as a lido, as residential,
commercial or a combination of uses.
The Local Authority (who owns Cleveland Pools) is looking for a
sustainable long term use for the property.
Cleveland Pools occupies a
particularly tranquil spot on the banks of the river, much
frequented by Kingfishers and Waterfowl.
