Policy and Partnerships

Partnership Development and Support

We do this through facilitating the development of Partnership working but also by enabling delivery of specific policies and projects within that. The service is responsible or the work of the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) and the Local Area Agreement (LAA) but within that responsibility for the Safer (Community Safety) and Stronger agenda. The service is also responsible for the Council's Corporate Plan.

Key Policy Areas

We have the lead for a range of policy areas such as Equalities, Sustainability, Rural and the corporate voluntary sector relationships.

What we deliver?

The service also delivers a range of local partnership initiatives such as Rural Renaissance, Bath Communities Partnership, Christmas events and generally coordinating activity in Keynsham and Midsomer Norton and Radstock in Partnership with the local Councils and partners.
