The
Local Area Agreement for Bath and North East Somerset contains
a commitment to develop 4 new Parish Plans per year over the next
two years. Parish Plans are seen by the Government as a way for
rural communities to run their own affairs and influence their
future development.
Why have a Parish Plan?
A Parish Plan is an opportunity for your community to have a say
in how your local area and services are managed. It can make a real
difference, both to what you do within your community, and to how
you work with others to improve local quality of life.
Bath & North East Somerset supports Parish Planning and has
a range of tools and assistance available to help Parishes
