A certificate relating to a Birth Death or Marriage that occurred in Bath and North East Somerset since July 1837 may be obtained from this office. All of the deaths that occured before December 2007 are now on the BathBMD web site. We would aim to process your application within two days of receiving it. Please give us a daytime telephone number, and a stamped self-addressed envelope, (please note that certificates are A4 size). Cheques should be made payable to "Superintendent Registrar".

These cost £7.00. You would need to supply the following information, full name and surname of the deceased and the date and place of death.
