Library Charges

Concessionary Groups

There are six new concessionary groups, so you can qualify for reduced fees & charges when you join the library.

Computer & Internet charges

There are charges for some computer and internet services.  However there's still a great range of websites that are still free to access for research and information.

Damaged & replacement items

If you've lost your library card or lost/damaged an item that you have borrowed - find out about replacement costs here.

Hire charges per item

Even though we charge for other items such as DVD's, and audiobooks on CD or Cassette - you won't find a better deal.

Photocopying & Printing

If you want to print or copy anything while you're at the library, take a look at the costs before you start.

Reservations & Renewals

If you renew an item you paid for, like a DVD or computer game, another hire charge will be due next time you visit the library.  Some reservations also attract a small charge.

Room hire & equipment charges

Find out how much it costs to put on an exhibition or hire a meeting room in one of our locations.

Overdue charges for late returns

If you return any items late, you might end up having to pay a fine.  So make sure you keep that change in your pockets.

Concessionary groups

Who is eligible for the new concessionary charges?
