Books, talking books, CD ROMs & Music CDs

• Adults 18+ - 15p per day (Max. £5.00 per item)
• Children (5-17) - 5p per day (Max. £4.00 per item)
• Children (Under 5) & Home Library Service - No Charges on Books or Talking books

DVDs Videos & Playstation games

• Adults 18+ - 50p per day (Max £10.00 per item)
• Children & Young People Under 18 - 30p per day (Max. £2.50 per item)

Music, play & reading group sets

• All overdue items will be charged at £1.50 per day until all copies or parts are returned. 
• This is up to a maximum of £15 per set, after which there will be a replacement charge, plus a £5 handling charge.

Playgroups & childminders

• All items will be charged at 5p per day per item up to a maximum of £4.00

Reminder letters

• Any overdue letter or email sent will be subject to an admin charge of 50p. These are sent when a book has gone past it's return date
• We now offer an email pre-overdue service where we will tell you that your books are going overdue 2 days before they are actually due and it costs you nothing, all you need is your email address added to your account. Visit your local library or add your email address here

Replacement membership cards 

• Adults 18+ - £1.00 (£2.00 after first occasion)
• Children & Young People (17 & under) - 50p (£1.00 after first occasion)

Items Lost or Damaged

• The full replacement cost will be payable for any item which is lost or damaged beyond repair.
• Refunds on any items subsequently found will be subject to an admin charge of £1 per item.
