Do you have problems accessing public transport?

BATH & North East Somerset Council is to hold a drop-in meeting in Midsomer Norton on Friday, April 30 for residents of the Norton Radstock area who have problems accessing conventional public transport.

The meeting will take place from 2pm-7pm at the Methodist Church Hall, High Street, Midsomer Norton and is the first stage in gauging public opinion about the viability of introducing a new community transport scheme in the Norton Radstock area.

Cllr Sir Elgar Jenkins, Executive Member for Transport and Highways, said: “The purpose of this meeting is to establish the unmet transport needs of local people who can’t access conventional public transport.

“If you have any problems or comments about your needs or those of a friend or relative, then Bath & North East Somerset Council would love to hear from you.”

If you are unable to get to the meeting and would like to make your views known please contact the Council’s Public Transport Team on Tel: 01225 477609 and a questionnaire will be sent out to you.
