DUE to the amount of budding historians who attended the last family and local history event at Keynsham in April, Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Library and Information Service are giving you another chance to get clued up.

Stephanie Round, Local Studies Librarian for Bath & North East Somerset, will be giving an illustrated talk on getting started with family history.

The talk will take place between 10.30am and 12noon on Wednesday, May 5, with refreshments served afterwards.

A second local history drop-in session involving research techniques is also planned for June, so you can put your new found skills into practice.

The event is free but places are limited so please reserve your tickets by calling into Keynsham Library or ringing 01225 394191.
